Boldness Becomes

“Boldness is the opposite of fearfulness. To be bold implies a willingness to get things done despite risks.”

Boldness becomes her
Her smile is the strength
She hangs onto like the
Stars connected to the curve of the moon
Her eyes, like constellations are
Filled with the motion of dreams
That orbit around hope and shoot forth
like comets making contact with
earth for the very first time – Antavia Mason

Boldness resides within humanity. We are not called to live life passively on the sidelines of whatever is thrown our way. It it very easy to fall into fearfulness, laziness, complacency, and so many other things. However, this is not the nature of man. God has not created a race of wimps or weaklings. It is through the power of Jesus Christ that we are able to live a life of boldness. Every man and woman has boldness residing on the inside of them.
This boldness is life changing and is potent. Boldness can be present in every aspect of a person’s life. It takes boldness to wake up in the morning and feel motivated to do the work that is set before you. It takes boldness to be yourself and be okay with the fact that you are you, and you are amazing! It takes boldness to do so many things in our lives that can be seen as menial or small. But it is living life without fearfulness and living life without straddling the fence of boldness that life becomes meaningful, because once you hop over that fence, something beautiful, bold, and life changing could be waiting on the other side.
Yes, life can be a bit scary and it does seem easier to just watch from the sidelines, but what you and I must remember is this: Boldness becomes you. You have been fashioned and created to live as such.
